Bruce D. Curtis

Bruce D. Curtis, age 57, 3 year resident of Romeo and formerly from the Almont/Port Huron area, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at his home in Romeo. Bruce was born Sept. 21, 1951 in Port Huron, the son of Bruce G. and Jane (Davison) Curtis. He worked in the landscaping business as a laborer/designer for many years and currently with the R. White Landscaping in Romeo. His hobbies were fishing, watching all type of sporting events, and tinkering with engines. Bruce is survived by his children: Jonathon (Christy) Curtis of Fraser, Shari (Louis) Wildman & Matthew Curtis both of Lake City, & Joseph Curtis of Grayling. Also survived by Cathy Kern and her sons Jimmy & Donny along with grandchildren Samantha, Sandra, Alyssa, Justin, Luke, Gage, Marisa & Mira Curtis and Sabrina Zoccola. Siblings include Barbara Behn, Peggy Coon, & Grace White. Bruce was preceded in death by his siblings Wayne, Bob, Ada, & Margie. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral with Pastor Dan Kopp of the Kensington Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery in Applegate, MI. Visitation is Thurs from 5-9 PM.
