DETROIT -- Camille A. Raffa-Dietz died on April 20, 2018 at age 63. Camille A. Raffa-Dietz was born on November 8, 1954 in Detroit, the daughter of Frank T. and Angela (Dom¬inick) Raffa. Camille received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in 1982 with honors and en¬tered the University of Mich¬igan Law School, graduating in 1985. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1985 and joined Foster, Meadows & Ballard, P.C., an admiralty and transportation law firm in Detroit where she progressed to partner and then Vice President. She married Richard A. Dietz in 1991 at Mariner’s Church in Detroit. She had a great love of the arts, particularly ballet which she practiced into adulthood. She was a supporter of the Detroit Institute of Arts, The Belle Isle Conservancy and Powabic Pottery. She enjoyed traveling, sailing, books, and was devoted to her family and friends. After over four years battling cancer, Camille died quietly at her Detroit home surrounded by family. She is survived by her beloved husband Richard A. Dietz, her loving mother Angela Raffa and her siblings: Charles (Diane) Raffa, Adrienne (John) Przybysz, Connie Raffa, Nance (Sherian) Raffa, Frank P. (Colette) Raffa, Samuel (Nancy) Raffa, Anthony (Sandra) Raffa, James (Lou Anne) Raffa, and her beloved nephew Thomas Aquisto, M.D.; three aunts, one uncle as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation Thursday, April 26th, 3-8 pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc. 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Park, MI. Funeral Friday, April 27th, 11:00 am Mass, 10:00 Instate at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 15020 Hampton Rd. Grosse Pointe Park, MI. Visitation Saturday, April 28th, 9:30 - 11:30 am, Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Rd. Romeo, Mi 48065 with burial following, 12:00 Noon at Bruce-Armada Cemetery, Armada, MI. Memorial donations may be made to Angels' Place, 29299 Franklin Rd.
