Carl "Dutch" F. Morris

Carl F. “Dutch” Morris, age 87, a 57 year resident of Leonard, Michigan, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Vista Springs Washington Place. Carl was born September 21, 1936 in Arcadia, Kansas, the son of Ray and Florence (Davenport) Morris. Carl married Lois Bechtel on April 26, 1958 in Utica, Michigan. During his working years, Carl mostly did carpentry. In his free time, Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Carl is survived by his loving wife Lois, of Leonard, sons Carl (Caroline) Morris of Dryden, David (Susan) of Leonard, brother Don Morris, grandchildren Brent (Stephanie) Morris, Brian (Nichole) Morris, Jamie (Jason) Vassel, Steven (Danielle) Preuett, Shana (Andrew Kasper), great-grandchildren Benjamin, Mitchell, Annabelle, Emily, Lottie, Nathan, and Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, 10:00 AM, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Compassus Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
