Carol A. Oleskie

Carol Ann Oleskie, age 83, a lifelong Shelby Township resident passed away on September 10, 2022 at Westwood Inn Senior Living. On July 20, 1957 she married the love of her life Peter N. Oleskie and they spent 64 years married, he preceded her in death on November 4, 2021.

Carol spent almost 30 years in Retail working at Kroger where she did many jobs over the years. She loved bowling, camping, playing cards, and baking.

Carol is survived by her children; Debbie (Kevin) of Ray Twp, Nick (Shari) of Addison Twp, Bruce (Danette) of Shelby Township, Elaine (Casimer) Ponus of Clinton Twp. Peter and Carol were also blessed with many grandchildren: John (Kim) Kerr, Jeremy (Jay) Kerr, Austin(Meghan) Oleskie, Alyssa (Mike) Richardson, Brandon (Jessica) Oleskie, Jaclynn (Anthony) Goucher, Cierra Snoeck, Miranda (Scott) Oleskie, , Rebecca Oleskie, and Casimer Ponus. Great grandchildren; Colton, Everett, Vincent, Harper, Vivian, Eva, and Finn. Siblings; brother Robert (Arlene) Preston, Phyllis Melgard, and Kathy (Ray) Oleskie.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11am at the Momentum Christian Church (58956 Van Dyke Road, Washington Twp, 48094). Visitation will take place onWednesday, September 14, 2022 at The Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home from 3-8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, because family and his church were important to the Oleskie family would like contributions sent to The Youth Group Momentum Church.
