Carol Ann Sheppard

Carol Ann Sheppard, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Carol was born April 22, 1939 in Detroit, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Gongia) Stevenson. After graduating from Lakeshore High School in 1957, she married Larry Sheppard on October 25, 1958 and he preceded her in death in 2010. After helping raise her siblings and family, Carol owned/operated her AAA Insurance Office from 1990 till 2010 in Sterling Heights, MI. Upon retirement, she enjoyed shopping, vacationing, all types of art, and was well known for her artistic ability. Carol is survived by her children; Jody (Ken) Westley of Clarkston, Vicki (Harvey) Wolschleger of Chesterfield, MI., Leeann (Garry) Penn of Metamora, MI., and Howard (Donna) Sheppard of Macomb, MI. Grandchildren include Evan (Erica), Jenna (Adrian), Alyssa, Melonie (Dan), Daniele, Justin (Shannon), Renee (Alex), Marisa, Nathan (Kelly), Lauren (Preston), Lindsey (Cullen), Aiden, & Owen. Great grandchildren include Emmett, Evelyn, Luke, Molly, Samuel, Addyln, Ryan, Ashley, Sadie, Kiley, Whitney, & Aubrie. Siblings surviving include Dennis (Tina) Stevenson, Mary Ward, and Debbie (Mark) Gardner. Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11 AM at the Romeo United Methodist Church with Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
