Carol Elaine Martin

Carol Elaine Martin, age 91, a resident of Romeo/Harper woods/Detroit her whole life, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Medi-Lodge of Shoreline in Sterling Heights, MI. Carol was born December 18, 1930 in Detroit, the daughter of Edgar G. and Josephine (Phillips) Martin. Carol spent over 30 years as a secretary at the Harper Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit. Over the years, she was a member of Our Lady Queen of Sorrows/St Joseph/and St Clement Catholic Church. She was well known as an Aunt to everyone she met. She enjoyed being around her family and friends. Carol is survived by her nephew Bill (Lyndell) Martin of Shelby Twp., along with their daughters Tracy & Kristin and many great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert (Bob) Martin. Inurnment will take place at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Detroit and she will be buried by her parents.
