Carol Lou Rhodes

Carol Lou Rhodes, age 95, a resident of Romeo since 1977, passed away on May 26, 2022 in Utica, Michigan, the daughter of Karl and Helen (Darrow) Garmroth. Carol Lou graduated from Eastern High School in Detroit. She married Cecil Rhodes on March 5, 1949 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Throughout her career, Carol Lou worked at a multitude of car dealerships. She loved music and going to the casino, and was a member of the DAR. Carol is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Rhodes of Madison Heights, Colleen (Douglas) Carnes of Newport News Virginia, and Eileen Rhodes of Bruce Township, as well as her grandchildren Sean Carnes, Heather Carnes, and Aaron Carnes. Funeral Services will be held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11 A.M. Visitation will be held at the Henry M.
