Carol Vasile

Carol Vasile, age of 78, of Armada Twp, was called home with our Lord in Heaven peacefully on July 10, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on January 8, 1946 in Detroit to Sadie and Carl Agosta. Carol was an amazing and selfless woman who always put the needs of everyone else before hers. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Carol was the matriarch of the family and her wisdom, values and traditions of life will forever be passed down.

Carol is the beloved wife of Calogero (Lee) Vasile for 54 years; she is the loving mother to Vincenza (Casey) Pogodzinski, Philip (Gloria) Vasile, Rosaria Vasile (Charlie Foreman), Carl (Stacy) Vasile, and Frances Vasile (Joel Gingrich); she is the grandmother to Philip Vasile, Gwendolyn Pogodzinski, Lilliana Vasile, Gabriella Pogodzinski, Giuliana Vasile, Abram Pogodzinski, Dominic Vasile, Alessandra Gingrich, Christian Vasile, Joel Gingrich, Breanna Vasile, Elijah Gingrich and Viviana Gingrich; and step-grandmother to Spencer Pogodzinski and Justin Deneau. She is survived by her brother Carl (Betty) Agosta, and preceded in death by her three sisters - Sadie, Jenny and Phyllis.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2024 at St. Clement Church of Rome (343 S. Main St. in Romeo, MI 48065) at 9:30 am. Mass will immediately follow, beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Bruce/Armada Cemetery.
