Carrie Lee Osinski

Carrie Lee Osinski, age 81,  14 year resident of Romeo and previously from the Warren, MI., area, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.  Carrie Lee was born July 29, 1926 in Hillsboro, IL., the daughter of Michael Francis and Julia Leona (Kramer) Drabant.  She married Ralph Albert Osinski on January 11, 1956 in Detroit, and he preceder her in death on June 6, 2004.  Carrie  moved to Detroit in 1944 working clerical  with Tower Letter Service. Also through Tower Letter, effected military map drafting.  Carrie was very artistic and loved working with her hands with clay and other creative ideas.   Her hobbies were bowling, gardening, and volunteering her time with the Romeo/Washington Senior Citizens where she participated with her sister-in-law, Jeane Osinski.      Carrie Lee is survived by her three sons, Ralph K. of Clinton Twp., Brian K. (Terri) of Sterling Heights, and Barry K. of Romeo.  Also survived by her brother Stanley (Jody) Drabant of Lincoln, Nebraska.  She was preceded in death by her brother Billy and sister Eva Drabant.     Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Msgr. George Browne officiating.  Burial will follow at the Romeo Cemetery.  Visitation will take place on Thursday from 6-9 and on Friday from 3-9.
