Charles Allan Wyman

Charles Allan Wyman, age 75, a resident of Macomb Township since 1999 and previously from Sterling Heights, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Charlie was born March 14, 1947 in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of Charles Newton, Jr. and Beatrice A. Wyman. He married Barbara in Royal Oak, Michigan on September 27, 1969. Charlie served his country proud by being in the Army in 1967-1968 during the Vietnam War. Upon returning from Vietnam, Charlie worked for 25 years at Troy Design & Manufacturing as a machinist, being a program manager. After retiring in 2011, Charlie had more time to spend with his family, loved to target shoot with his rifle, and mostly being a golfer. You could see him every Monday afternoon with his partner Walter, at Heather Hills Golf course. Walter & Charlie were not the best golfers, but they had more fun and everyone loved to golf against them because you knew it would be an enjoyable afternoon. Charlie is survived by his wife Barbara, 2 daughters: Michele (Craig) Grzech & Jennifer (Scott) Matash both of Macomb Township. Charlie was also blessed with 2 granddaughters, Chloe & Alena. Memorial services will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2-6 PM at the Old Settlers VFW Post 4659, 8311 Wilson Dr, Shelby Township, MI 48316. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Post # 4659 would be appreciated. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
