Charles F. Valentine

Charles F. Valentine, age 81, a 20 year resident of Hubbard Lake and a 27 year resident of Washington Twp. Passed away on October 4, 2013 at Shelby Nursing Center. Charles was born on May 9, 1932 in St. Clair Shores the son of James and Agnes (Stolenback). He married Marjorie Chamberlain on April 7, 1956 in Rochester Michigan. Charles was an avid hunter, euchre player, and fisherman. He loved his home, family, and being a Tigers fan. He also served in the Army during the Korean war. Charles is survived by his wife Marjorie of Washington Twp.. Children Tim (Valerie) of Sherburne, NY, Roger (Joan) of Macomb Twp., Charles Jr. of Fort Wayne IN, and Lisa (Mark) of Romeo. Brothers Harry (Ruth) of Harrisville and David (Theresa) of Armada. Sisters Dorothy Price of Washington Twp., Mable (Barry) Cheswick of Goodrich, and Susie (Mark) Jones of Ocean Springs MI. Also, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 10 am at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will be on Monday October 7, 2013 from 2-8. Burial will be at Oak View Cemetery in Royal Oak, MI. Visitation: Visitation will be on Monday October 7, 2013 from 2-8.
