Charles Harold Lee, age 84, a 50 year resident of Almont passed away on December 25, 2014. Charles was born in Lawrence County, Tennessee on December 2, 1930 the son of Neil and Annabelle. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953, graduated from the Detroit Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Employed as a Engineering Group Manager at Ternstedt and Fisher Body divisions of General Motors on door latches as well as a wide range of other products. Continued his engineering work after retirement from GM, as well as working as an expert witness in the field of door latches. Charles is survived by his wife of 63 years Shirley of Almont. Daughters Denise Lee (Al Feldman), Dawn Schoenherr (Rick), Vicki Laseke (Greg). Sister Frances Butler (Ellis). Brother David Lee (Beverly. 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Laurie Lee. Sisters Helen Radford (Bill) and Virginia Moffatt (Ed). Parents Neil and Annabelle Lee. A memorial service will take place on January 3, 2015 at 11 AM at St. John Lutheran Church (246 Benjamin, Romeo, MI 48065.)
