Charles W. Doran Jr.

Charles W. Doran, Jr., age 79, a resident of Romeo since 1986, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Charles was born October 5, 1940 in Norristown, PA., the son of Charles Sr. & Myrtle Esther (Binns) Doran. On July 15, 1961 he married Sally Paulhamus in Elkon, Maryland. Charles spent 24 year in the Navy, before retiring in 1994 as a flight engineer for the P-3 Orion submarine hunter airplane stationed at Selfridge Air Force base in Mt Clemens, Michigan. He also worked as a paramedic in PA., worked in the auto body repair business, and also for the Sine Company in Mt Clemens. Charles is survived by his wife Sally, children: Catherine (Joseph) Carbo, Kimberly (Harry) Haug along with grandchildren Heather, Matthew, A.J., and Rebecca. Great grandchildren surviving include Felicity, Aiden, Skylar, Teagen, Aria, Wyatt, Andy, and Evie. Charles was also survived by his sister Carol (Robert) Greene and was preceded in death by son Charles William (Billy) III Doran, and great grandchildren Lincoln, Conner, & Caelen.
