Charlotte Jean Gondert

Charlotte Jean Gondert, age 92, a resident of Romeo since 1962, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her home in Romeo. Jean was born October 11, 1928 in Lexington Kentucky, the daughter of Maurice and Charlotte Virginia (?) Cropper. She met Theodore at a Notre Dame social event, and was married at Notre Dame Cathedral, Nov 19, 1949. Along with her family, she was a long time member of St. Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Charlotte is survived by her children: Kathy (Bill) Bolio, 1 child, 2 great grandchildren, Armada; Pat Gondert, 2 children,(Romeo); Bill (Joanne) Gondert, 5 children, 9 great grandchildren, Troy; Elizabeth Gondert (Harry Davis) Shelby Twp.; David Gondert and Ginger Steinbrink, Armada; Jennifer (Kevin) Modzelewski, 2 children, Lake Orion. She is also survived by her brother Robert (Judy) Cropper of Tampa Florida, and was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Theodore (TR), son Theodore (Teddy), and grandson Michael. Funeral services will be private with burial of cremated remains at a later date in Dayton.
