Christine A. Aubry

Christine A. Aubry, age 64, a longtime Romeo resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at McLaren Hospital in Port Huron, Michigan. Christine was born October 2, 1954 in Detroit, the daughter of Henry and Beatrice (Burman) Hug. She married Russell Aubry in 1978 at St Philomenia Catholic Church in Detroit. Christine worked for 32 years at the Secretary of State office as a clerk at the Romeo Office, before retiring in 2011. She worked for a short time at the Donald Miller Construction company in Detroit as a secretary. Lover of anything associated with birds, flowers or her family. Christine is survived by her husband Russell of Fort Gratiot, daughter Shannon (Josh Hall) Aubry-Hall of Avoca along with Christine’s granddaughter Aubry Hall. Also survived by her father Henry Hug of Detroit and siblings: Ed (Sue) Hug of Algonac, MI., Jean (Mike) Dombrowski of Traverse City, MI., Kathy (Al Naegeli) Hug & Patricia (Don) Park both of Roseville, MI. Christine was preceded in death by mother Beatrice, brother Dennis Hug, and sister Diane Milkowski. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 22 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 21 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
