Christine Sue Martin

Christine Sue Martin, age 75, a resident of Richmond, Michigan, passed away August 19, 2023 in Romeo, Michigan. Christine was born July 22, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Billy Lee Baker and Helen Jean Aldridge.

Chris had a love for people! She enjoyed talking (to almost anyone), cooking, reading and loved watching her grandchildren, nieces and nephews at dance recitals, baseball/softball, football, snowboarding and at St. Clair County 4-H Fair. She also liked to catch up with friends at the fair, and enjoyed watching the horses as well. She knew how to throw a party and very much enjoyed all the sleepovers with all the cousins together!

Christine is survived by brother, Gary (Vicky) Baker, sister Carol (Jerry) Salens, son Jeffrey (Brenda) Bartos, daughter Melanie (Joe) Siwak. Also survived by Dana Martin, Billy (Sarah) Martin, grandchildren are Amber Bartos, Nicole, Brandon, Jenna (Devon) Snyder, Ashley (Cody) Wescott, Audrey, Alaina, Martin Siwak, and Jameson Martin. Great-Grandchildren are Nathan, Carter, and Jayden. Nieces and nephews are Adam Baker, Steven Baker, Rebecca (Brandon), Mary (Jerry) and Emily, great-nephews Colin and Jackson, great-nieces Riley and Hayden. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Connie, and loving husband William Martin.
