Christopher J. Blewett

Christopher J. Blewett, age 52, a lifelong resident of the Armada/Columbus Township area, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Chris was born December 17, 1961 in Mt Clemens. Michigan the son of Thomas J. and Jean A. (Smith) Blewett. Chris and the former Jerrie McDonald Blewett have been together for over 30 years. Chris worked as a union roofer for many years and was especially proud of belonging to Local 149 of Detroit. His hobbies included all family functions, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and last but not least, splitting wood for his house. Chris is survived by his wife Jerrie, and siblings: Thomas (Mary) Blewett of Sterling Heights, Susan (Greg) Fammolino of Emmett, Sharon Blewett of Columbus Twp., and Andrew (Sue) Blewett of Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews along with his dog Bennie. Chris was preceded in death by his children, Christopher II and Savannah along with his brother Shawn. Funeral services will take place on Friday December 19, 2014 at 2:30 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday December 19, 2014 from 11-2:30. Burial will take place at Willow Grove Cemetery in Armada. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
