Cindy S. Pfeil, age 67, a 25 year resident of Shelby Township and formerly from the Romeo area, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Center in Clinton Township. Cindy was born April 10, 1943 at the Bishop Hospital in Almont, Michigan, the daughter of Dr David (Romeo First Chiropractor) and Mary (Edmunds) Rees. She married Richard D. Pfeil on September 26, 1964 at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica. She graduated from Romeo High School in 1961, was a graduate of the David Presley Cosmetology School in Royal Oak and for many years until her retirement in 1983, worked as a bank teller at the Community National Bank. (Now PNC Bank) . Her hobbies included golfing, playing blackjack, bowling, and macramé . Cindy is survived by her husband Richard, children: Jennifer (Dave) Brown and Adam (Lisa) Pfeil both of Romeo along with grandchildren: Brandy (Seth) Fetty, Felicia (Jeff) Cooper, Brent & Ben Brown, and Paxton & Joelle Pfeil. Great grandchildren include Rielee, Ryann, Landen, & Cullen. Siblings surviving include Dick (Barb) Rees of Manistee, MI., Maxine (Allen) Coyle of Broomfield, Colorado, Dave (Marie) Rees of Romeo, Walt (Dee) Pfeil of Lanbertville, MI., and Bill Pfeil of Shelby Twp. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Visitation will be on Wed from 6-9 and on Thursday from 2-9 with a 7 PM rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Donations to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Seasons Hospice, or to the Marine Corp. would be appreciated. Visitation: on Wednesday from 6-9 on Thursday from 2 -9 Services: on Friday at St Clement Catholic Church 343 S. Main, Romeo Michigan Interment: Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Veterans Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Great Lakes Veteran Cemetery.
