Claude J. Ruckman

Claude J. Ruckman, age 91, a 42 year resident of the Romeo area passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Claude was born June 18, 1925 in McCallsburg, Iowa, the son of Claude T. and Carrie (Norcross) Ruckman. He married the former Norma Jean Green in Steamboat Rock, Iowa on June 16, 1954 and she preceded him in death on December 25, 2014. Claude worked and retired from the Romeo Tractor Plant where he worked as a machinist. Claude served his country proud in the Army. Claude is survived by his children: David (Sherry) Ruckman of St. Clair, Michigan, Debbie (Joe) Hiatt of Iowa, Dan (Lisa) Ruckman of Brown City, Michigan, Denise (Matt) Shather of New Haven, Michigan and Donna (Tom) Schramm of Armada. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
