Claudia J. Hintz

Claudia J. Hintz, age 73, a lifelong Almont resident, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at McLaren Lapeer Hospital. Claudia was born on February 16, 1949, the daughter of Claude and Christina (Sanday) Pilgrim. She married Donald Hintz in 1965 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica, Michigan.

Claudia worked at Cranbrook Daycare for many years. She also worked as a paraprofessional in Almont Schools.

Claudia is survived by her husband Donald, of Almont, her children Cindy (Woody) Akers of Almont, and Duane Hintz of Almont, siblings, Bud (Liz) Pilgrim, and Bobby Sue (Dave) DeMara, also grand-children Michelle (Chris) Carriveau, Ashley (Nate) Murray, Kayla (Gabe Logiudice) Akers, and Amber Hintz, as well as great-grandchildren Kolton, Zane, Audria, and Myles. Claudia is preceded in death by parents Claude and Christine Pilgrim, sister Sandra Schoonover, and daughter-in-law Deanna Hintz

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 12PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10AM-12PM.
