Claudio Selva

Claudio Selva, age 73, 31 year resident of Bruce Township passed away on April 21, 2020 at his home. Claudio was born on September 22, 1946 the son of Marino and Maria (Gasperoni). He spent many years working in the construction industry mostly as a brick mason. He enjoyed watching and playing soccer. He was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church for many years and was even a member of the Knights of Columbus. Claudio was well known as a wonderful father, grandpa, and friend. Claudio is survived by his loving wife Aurora of Bruce Township. Children; Steven (Ann) Selva of Romeo, Lynn LaCross of Sterling Heights, Christina (Theresa Brodoski) DiMaggio of Romeo, Matthew (Rosanna) DiMaggio of Armada, and Christopher (Kelsie) Selva of Battle Creek. Sister; Lilliana Ceccoli of Italy. Also, 9 grandchildren. Siblings in law; Argentina (Claudio) Bianchi, Bruno (Rose) Angeli, Pier Marino (Babette) Angeli, Claudia Angeli, Joe (Kathy) Angeli, Claudio (Maureen) Angeli, Roberta Angeli, Albert (Kimberly) Angeli, and Sergio (Amy) Angeli. Claudio was predeceased by his sister in law Marisa Cracchiolo in March of 2020. Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place at McCafferty Cemetery, Bruce Township. A celebration of Claudio’s life will be held at a later date.
