Cleddiss D. Puckett, age 80, passed away in his Washington, MI home peacefully with his wife Rose Ann by his side. Cleddiss was born on April 25, 1941 in Morgantown, West Virginia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson/Campbell. Cleddiss married the love of his life Rose Ann (Maryonovich-Schwark) in a quaint intimate little chapel ceremony in Utica in 1996, surrounded by family & friends. Married for 25yrs, they shared an immense adoration, joy and love for one another. Cleddiss owned, operated and was known fondly as The Washington Gutterman for 50+ yrs. He was a gentle, generous, sweet and kind man that loved his family, friends and worked tirelessly often 7 days a week in rain, snow, sleet or shine for his customers over the decades. He was a member of the Sportsmans Congress in Utica, Mi. where he taught, loved to shoot and was always grateful for comradery of his fellow firearm enthusiasts . He was quite the outdoors man and thoroughly enjoyed being productive, ambitious and diligent in his skills and craftsmanship, with no plan to ever retire. He will be sorely missed by many. Cleddiss is survived by his wife Rose Ann, daughters Rhonda (Keith) Laitinen, Sandra (Greig) Rambo, Deborah Schwark of Sterling Heights, son Fred (Lisa) Schwark of Highland. Grandchildren, Lauren (Steve) Matthews of Sterling Heights, Jordan Leich of Sterling Heights, Austin Rambo, and Amanda Laitinen. One new great grandchild Liam Matthews. Cleddiss was preceded in death by his grandchild Melissa Laitinen. Funeral Services will be private with immediate family only. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
