Concha M. (Connie) Rumph

Concha M. (Connie) rumph, age 62, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Connie was born June 27, 1953 in Detroit, the daughter of William and Gertrude (Rey) Rogers. After graduating from Romeo High School in 1972, she married Dave Rumph on June 8, 1973 at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Romeo. Connie lived to take care of her children and be a friend to all. She loved to cook and nobody ever left her home without having a home cooked meal. Her hobbies include gardening and knitting. Connie is survived by her husband Dave, children: Russell (Maria) Rumph of Armada, and Kurtis & Casey at home. Also survived by her grandson Klayton, siblings: Richard (Candy) Rogers of Richmond, Larry (Rene) Rogers of Traverse City, MI, William (Bill) Kim Rogers of Almont and Luann (Tim) Kopitz of Washington Township. Chuck David, Connie’s step-father of Washington Township also survives. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 23 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial to follow at Bruce-Armada Cemetery in Bruce Township. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations can be made to the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd. Romeo, Mi 48065).
