Constance L. Kungel

Constance L. Kungel, age 84, a lifelong Romeo resident, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. Constance was born February 27, 1940 in Romeo, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur and Kate (Kolehagan) Linteau. She was a 1958 graduate of Romeo High School. After high school, she went on to Cosmetology School in Mount Clemens. On September 28, 1962, she married Frank J. Kungel in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Constance worked at, and eventually retired from the Powder Box. She also worked 7 days a week at Henriksen Driving Range in Shelby Township. Constance loved helping people, and also had a great love of cooking. Constance was a great friend to have; friends were like family. She was a loyal and selfless person. She will be missed.

Constance is survived by her sons Shawn (Patti) Kungel of Shelby Township, and Kevin (Renee) Kungel of Macomb, grandchildren, Zach and Katie, as well as two great-grandchildren, and her niece, Sueann (Jim) Kainz of Windsor, Canada. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, and brother Richard Linteau.

Visitation will be held Sunday October 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Michigan.
