Dale A. Jenuwine, age 82, a lifelong Armada Township resident, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Dale was born in Mt. Clemens on January 31, 1939, the son of Leo and Ethel (Schoenherr) Jenuwine. He married Thomasine E. Leto on December 1, 1962 at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2000. Dale was a lifelong farmer, growing up on his parent’s farm and then taking over their farm upon their deaths. He went from being a dairy farmer to a vegetable grower with a cow/calf operation. He was a former Board member of the Macomb County Soil Conservation group, a member of the Farm Bureau, helped out with the 4-H kids on the Sales Committee at the Armada Fair, and was the “Market Master” at the Mt. Clemens farmer market. He was active with St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 and a member of its 4th Degree. His hobby was his farm and being with other farmers was his joy in life. Dale is survived by his two children James of Armada Twp. and Jo Ellen (John) Clark of Riley Twp. Grandchildren include Katherine and John IV Clark: Donna Hyek of Lewiston, Thomas (Dot) of Shelby Twp., and Norm (Nadean) of Richmond Township. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Mary, daughter-in-law Joan, and siblings Shirley Grobbel, Joseph, Gary, Mark, and Lois Horn. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo (343 S. Main, Romeo Michigan 48065). Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-8 and Wednesday from 2-8 with a rosary at 7 pm by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
