Dane A. Knuppenburg

Dane A. Knuppenburg, age 52, lifelong resident of Romeo, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2018 in his home. Dane was born on March 30, 1966 to Kermit “Butch” L. Knuppenburg and Carolyn. Dane worked for Michigan Rivet Corporation, Coalheading, and in the natural gas fields of Colorado each for many years. He loved working on “everything” that had a motor. Dane also enjoyed hunting and target practice. Dane is survived by his wife Andrea Kunuppenburg of Romeo; children Dane Jr and Jessie; father Butch (Rosie) Knuppenburg of East Tawas; mother Carolyn (Richard) Roth of Honor; Father in law Chuck (Carol) Redd siblings Kermit (Lucy) Knuppenburg of Macomb Twp and Melony Caring of Attica; step brothers Greg (Carol) Roth of Leonardand David Roth of Lake Orion; sister in law Lisa (Dane) Farris of Almont along with many nieces and nephews. Dane was preceded in death by his son Andrew Knuppenburg on May 19, 2016. Funeral services will take place on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 10 AM at The Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with burial to follow in Bruce-Armada Cemetery in Bruce Township. Visitation will occur on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 2-8pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
