Daniel P. Hogan

Daniel Paul Hogan joined his Savior in Heaven on February 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Zoe Ann (Kay), his children Paul (Susan) Hogan and Arianne (Jeff) Alderman, his grandchildren Evie, Jackson and Juliana Alderman, and his siblings, Doug (Gail), Mike (Ginger), Joe (Ann) and Jane (Sam) Agrusa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmond and Gladys Hogan, and his sister Cindy.

Dan will be remembered for his work as a material testing chemical engineer at the General Motors Research and Development Laboratory at Warren Tech Center before retiring to a second career as an Automotive Laboratory Auditor for ISO Standards.

More than anything, Dan loved his family, friends, neighbors and church. He was never so happy as when he could help the people around him, and he was always quick to tease and joke. He will be remembered as a mentor, teacher and guide.

His loved ones will celebrate Dan’s life at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home from 2 – 8 PM on Friday, February 23, with funeral service at Grace Lutheran Fellowship Church beginning at 11 AM on Saturday, February 24. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Lutheran or your preferred charity.
