Daniel R. Kippen

Daniel Robert Kippen, age 65 of Romeo, Michigan died July 29, 2015 peacefully in his home after losing his battle with multiple health issues. He was born December 2, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Daniel W. Kippen and Elaine (Dirksen). He married his wife Donna (Windorf) on July 29, 1978 in Roseville, Michigan. Dan owned and operated Metro Radiator Repair in Harrison Township for 19 years before retiring. He was a man of many talents that could fix anything and enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed getting away for many years a the cottage on Houghton Lake and enjoyed movies. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Donna of 37 years, loving children Melissa (Karl) Ellis of Roswell, Georgia and Jonathon (Katie) Kippen of Dallas, Georgia. Also, sister Nancy (David) Rosevear and brother James (Jean) Kippen and adoring grandchildren Kaden, Nolan, and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack Kippen. Funeral services will be Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral home with Pastor Martin Gehring officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Michigan. The Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, in Clinton Township.
