Daniel William Mcmanus

Daniel William McManus, age 56, passed away at Troy Beaumont with a brief battle of COVID-19. Daniel was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Dan was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 12, 1965. He graduated from the Baptist Academy in 1983. He then met his loving wife Carrie in Detroit, and married on October 7, 1994. They had two beautiful children, Elizabeth Paige and Joshua Liam. Dan was a very hardworking man who worked at the concrete plant for 26 years at SRM (Nagy, Paragon). In his free time, he enjoyed lounging by the pool on a hot summer day, and then taking his electric motorcycle out for a joy ride. He was also a phenomenal cook, and was very musically inclined. He would spend hours playing music with his brother and around the family. Dan loved making people laugh, and always had the best jokes. His memory will be cherished by many. He is survived by his wife Carrie of 26 years, daughter Elizabeth McManus, son Joshua McManus. Also his stepfather William Carr, his brothers Robert McManus (Rochelle), Michael McManus (Sheryl) and sister Julie Wade. Dan was preceded in death by his father Robert McManus and his mother Beverly Carr. Funeral Services will be held at The Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 7 p.m. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m.
