David E. Wilson

David E. Wilson, age 91, a lifelong Romeo area resident passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. David was born December 8, 1922 in Romeo, the son of David and Mable (Reed) Wilson. He married the former Shirley Toeffer on April 21, 1951 in Pontiac, MI. David was a farmer his whole life, continuing to run his garden till his death. He was also into refinishing furniture and fishing. David was known for his smile, blue eyes, and never met a stranger he didn’t like. David is survived by his wife Shirley, children: David (Louise) of Romeo and daughter Barbara (Dennis) Monroe of Tennessee. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11 AM with Rev. George Johnson of Hope Community Baptist Church of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Bruce-Armada Cemetery. Arrangements made by the Henry M.
