David John Siwak

David John Siwak, age 72, a resident of Cass City, Michigan, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 18, 2020. David was born May 29, 1948 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Helen (Polec/Serwach) Siwak. He served on the Detroit Police Department from 1970 until he retired in 1991. He was the landlord to over 100 homes in the metropolitan Detroit. His passion in life was working and keeping busy. He always made time to help others no matter what. David is survived by his significant other Denise of Cass City, children: Joe (Melanie) of Emmett, Leslie (Mike Knapp) Handley of Yale, Melissa Sawyer, Chrissy (Troy) Bervig and Sarah & Annie Siwak. Grandchildren include Ashley (Cody) Wescott, Audrey, Alaina, Martin, Ariel, Ashton, Alyssa & Anthon. Surviving siblings include brother Eddie Serwach & sister Dottie. Services will be private.
