David M. Verschure

David M. Verschure age 73, 25 year resident of Washington passed away at McLaren Macomb Hospital on January 5, 2020. Dave was born on August 29, 1946 to Albert and Eleanor (Stringer) Verschure in Mt. Clemens. He graduated from Armada High School in 1963. He worked at the Armada Shell station for 10 years as a mechanic and was well known in the community. On May 14, 1971 Dave married Rosann Burmann at Armada Congregational Church. Dave retired from Ford Proving Grounds after 39 years of employment. He enjoyed cars, KENO, Nascar and Golf in his spare time. David is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Roseann; children Kevin (Rebecca) of Allenton and Marlow (Edward) Ward of Oakland Twp; siblings Albert Jr., Nancy (George) Chapman, Carol (Sam) Starks, Linda (Richard) Zvelch, Art (Cindy) and Regina Mosher; grandchildren Paige Marie, Landen Ward and Keegan Ward. David was preceded in death by his son Louis on June 24, 1995 and granddaughter Summer Ann Verschure in1996. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January 9, 2020 at 11AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Majeski Officiating (11280 32 Mile Road Romeo, MI). Visitation will occur on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 2-8PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
