David Raymond Norton

David Raymond Norton, age 66, passed away at home on November 7, 2021. A 40 yr resident of Washington Twp. David was born on June 25, 1955 in Pontiac, son of Raymond and Marie (Wagner). He married the love of his life Jayne (Youatt) at the First Congregational Church in Romeo on a beautiful Fall day in 1979. David graduated from Warren Mott in 1973. He then continued his education to become a Master Electrician and worked at GM Orion Assembly as a skilled trades team leader. David was an avid hunter, dog lover and interested in all things sci-fi and history. His biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and thinking about ways to surprise and entertain them. He was a friend to many - always ready to help anyone who asked. David is survived by his loving wife Jayne of Washington twp, his father Raymond of Howell, daughter Jacqueline (Angela) Norton of Huntington Woods, and son Jason (Rachel) Norton of Grosse Pointe Woods, Grandchildren Lucille and Grant; Siblings Christine (Tony) Zawacki of Whitmore Lake and Elizabeth Hubble of Newport. David was preceded in death by his mother Marie (Wagner). Funeral Service will take place on Saturday November 20, 2021 at 2pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
