David Sitek

David Sitek, age 70, a lifetime Michigan resident, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt Clemens, Michigan. David was born June 17, 1947 in Detroit, the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Kudrycki) Sitek. He married Diana Brewer on June 6, 1974 in California. David worked at many restaurants during his lifetime, at Joe Muer’s in Detroit for over 20 years and upon moving to California, at Fisherman’s Wharf on Pier 39 also for many years. He was a huge Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, enjoying watching their games over his lifetime. He was well known amongst his many family & friends as a “Mr Fixit”, because he could fix anything." David was a dedicated father caring for his developmentally disabled son and always willing to help others. David is survived by his wife Diana and son Todd both of Richmond and his two daughters: Shirley (Jeff) Frederick and Heather (Pat) Miller both of Armada. David is also survived by grandchildren Dustin (Nikki), Sean, Hannah, Nicky, & Desi and great grandchildren Henry & Theodore. Also survived by his brother Dennis (Sandy) and sister Dorothy Sitek-Wrosch along with 3 nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 12 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM at the Henry M.
