David W. Thompson, age 69, a resident of Silverwood, Michigan for 12 years, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at McLaren Oakland Hospital. David was born January 26, 1951 in Detroit, the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Almond) Thompson. While David worked in the steel industry all his life, he also enjoyed traveling, his pets, and all types of music. David is survived by his wife Sheryl, sisters Mary Joiner and Sue Tozer, mother and father-in-law Walt and Beverly Bristol, brother-in-law Dan (Denise) Bristol, sisters-in-law Susan (Mike) Wilson and Julie (Mark) Enzor,special nieces Megan Wilson and Samantha Hoffman, along with many nieces and nephews, including great-niece Sadie Hoffman; also sisters-in-law Cindy Teer, Ann Thompson and Darlene Jensen. David was preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Kenneth and John and brother-in-law Michael Joiner. Dave had many long-time friends including Melody and Phil Baker, Kathy and Ken Barr, Barb and Neil Gracer, Patti and Jeff Logue, and Jean and Karl Wiley. Local arrangements by the Henry M.
