Delores Sue Greene

Delores Sue Greene, age 81, a resident of Sterling Heights since 2011 and previously from St Joseph, MI., passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, MI. Delores was born July 10, 1931 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Irvin B. and Caroline R. (Hausch) Lawbaugh. She married Lee A. Greene on December 20, 1952 in Akron, Ohio he preceded her in death in 1990. Delores graduated from the Akron City Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in September of 1952. After moving to St Joseph, she worked as an RN at Lakeland Continuing Care Center in St Joseph and at Jordan’s Nursing Home in Bridgman, MI. Along with her husband and family, they were longtime members of the First Church of God in St Joseph. Delores is survived by her children: Carol (William) Coburn of Findlay, Ohio and David (Kristina) Greene of Washington Township, MI. Grandchildren include Kyle & Kelsey Coburn and Alyssa Greene. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. A luncheon will immediate follow the Memorial Service. Donations to the St John Luthean Church of Romeo would be appreciated.
