Delphine C. Beaumont

Delphine C. Beaumont, age 70, a 33 year resident of Almont and formerly from Warren, MI., passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Delphine was born October 1, 1944 in Detroit, the daughter of Russell and Charlotte (Michniacki) Ladendorf. Delphine retired as a dental assistant for the dental practice of Dr. Jay VanDerest of Almont and previously worked with PNC Bank also of Almont. Before moving to Almont, she worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Detroit in the accounting department. In her spare time, she enjoyed working and playing with her 5 dogs. Delphine is survived by her husband Derek, children: Catherine Beaumont of Royal Oak, Cynthia (Ron) Megee of Atlanta, Georgia, and Bruce (Susan) Beaumont of Troy, MI. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and sisters: Phyllis (Jerry) Phillips of Birmingham, MI. and Barbara (Richard) Giacomo of Macomb, MI, and 8 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Romeo United Methodist Church at 11 AM with Dr. Gary Glanville officiating.
