Dennis A. Bielawski

Dennis Bielawski, age 77, a Washington Township resident since 1971, went back home to be with Our Lord Thursday, November 30, 2017. Dennis was born on September 16, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Stanley and Irene (Kabalski) Bielawski.     Dennis served as an Electrical Engineer for General Dynamics for most of his career.  He was Director of Vetronics Engineering, in the Land Systems Division.  Dennis married Kathleen Wilson on December 14, 1969.  He was a passionate outdoorsman.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wildlife research and volunteering at Seven Ponds and Stoney Center Nature Centers.   Dennis is survived by his wife Kathleen (Wilson) Bielawski of Washington Township, son Bret (Holly) Bielawski of Romeo, daughters Amanda Bielawski of Clinton Township, and Amy Bielawski of Georgia; sisters Carol Peterson of Rochester Hills, and Colleen (Dan) Betts of Nebraska, and grandchildren Alina, Analiese, Kyla and Ava.    Services will take place on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 10:00am at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo, Michigan.  Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Donations can be made to Seven Ponds Nature Center or Michigan Parkinson's Foundation.
