Dennis W. Klein, Jr., age 29, a four year resident of Emmett, and formerly a lifelong resident of the Capac/Armada area, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Harper Hospital in Detroit. Dennis was born June 15, 1983 in Mt. Clemens, MI., the son of Dennis Klein and Joan (Schwarz) Henderson. Dennis was a 2001 graduate of Capac High School and then attained a Associate Degree in Arts & Science from St Clair County Community College. He then worked as an estimator for his father at Custom Drywall in Utica and also worked as a Realtor Assistant with his mother at Century 21 AAA North. Over the years, he was active in St Mary’s Mystical Rose Catholic Church in Armada and St. John Catholic Church in Allenton. Dennis had many and varied hobbies, from snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, to hunting, playing video games, watching all types of movies, being a Star Wars enthusiast, attending flea markets & garage sales, working on Lego projects, and always reading magazines. Dennis is survived by his parents Dennis and Peggy Klein of Richmond & Joan and Mark Henderson of Capac. Also survived by his fiancé Madelyne Schapman of Emmett, brothers Brian Klein of Riley, Eric Klein of Armada, and Scott Henderson of Emmett. Grandparents surviving include Gladys Klein & Dan and Pat Schwarz both of Richmond Twp., and Doris Henderson of Shelby Twp. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandfathers Robert Klein & James Henderson along with infant brothers Matthew & Michael Klein. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 22 at 10 AM at St Mary’s Mystical Rose Church in Armada with Fr. Siaosi Patau officiating. Burial will follow in the Richard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Donations to the family would be appreciated and a tribute to Dennis will be set up at a later date.
