Diana May Rinke

Diana May Rinke, age 83, a 20 year resident of Oscoda, Michigan, formerly of Bruce Township/Almont, passed away at Ascension St Joseph Hospital in Tawas, Michigan. Diana was born April 27, 1939 in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Michalina (Garsteski) Klemm.

After graduating from Lincoln High School, Class of 1957, she married Elden Rinke on August 22, 1959 at St Clement Catholic Church in Centerline, Michigan. She loved taking care of her 3 children and upon retirement, she had more time to paint, work in her garden, taking care of her flowers and her many dogs over the years.

Diana is survived by her husband Elden, brother Dr. Donald Klemm of Rochester, and children: Joseph (Julie) of Davison, Laura (Bret) Plasters of Lapeer & Jim (Nancy) of Dryden. Grandchildren include Nathan (Cassie) Rinke, Sarah (Tom) Libkie, Melissa (Tom) Glavich, Tim (Leah) Campbell, Amanda (Joe) Breen, Andrea (Joe) Kirchoff,  Michael Rinke, and Megan Rinke. Also survived by 15 great grandchildren and was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Jucewicz

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 3:00PM-8PM  with a 6:00PM Service with Father Mike officiating at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
