Diane Elizabeth Goldun

Diane Elizabeth Goldun, age 67, of Sterling Heights, passed away on Friday June 2, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospital. Diane was born on April 8, 1956 in Mt Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Lorraine (Vohs) Grunewald. In 1974, she married John Goldun Sr. at St Lawrence Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2008.

Diane grew up in a large family on a farm and always loved to take care of the people around her. She had a kind heart and always looked for the good in everyone. She had a one-of-a-kind personality and always made you laugh with the way she interpreted life. She raised her family in Washington Township and volunteered for many years at Washington Elementary as lunch lady and recess monitor. She was a proud grandmother of ten grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her children, Stacey Castillo of Almont, John (Amy) Goldun of Armada, Rozanne (Dennis) Walls of Imlay City; grandchildren, Jacob, McKenna, Tessa, Andrew, Adrianna, Matthew, Caleb, DJ, Brooke, and Mackenzie; brothers, Kenneth (Lynn) and Raymond (Dina); and her longtime companion, Jeffrey Kaiser.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and brothers, Robert, Russell, and Edward.

As per Diane’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
