Diane M. (Falker) Wensko, age 60, an 8 year resident of Tarrant, Alabama and formerly a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at St Vincent East Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Diane was born July 16, 1948 in Romeo, the daughter of Martin and Betty (Robertoy) Falker. She graduated from Romeo High School in 1966 and had worked for Natural Aggregates of Romeo for almost 30 years. Her hobbies include watching NASCAR racing, knitting, and all types of crafts. Diane is survived by her husband Phil Wensko of Tarrant, Alabama, her father Martin of Washington Twp., along with her brother Richard (Dianne) Falker of Washington Twp. Diane was the Godmother of her nieces Michelle (Jeff) Thomas of Romeo and Lauren Falker of Shelby Twp. Also survived by her niece Michelle’s children, Matthew & Jillian Thomas. She enjoyed her two beloved pets, Gidget & Peanut. Diane was preceded in death by her mother Betty. Diane’s memorial services will take place on Thursday, July 16 at 12:30 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Lynn Witt of the Family of Christ Church in Imlay City officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10 AM till 12:30 PM, the hour of service. Donations to the Family of Christ Church in Imlay City, St John Lutheran Church of Romeo, or to the Karmonas Cancer would be appreciated.
