Diane M. Laurain

Diane M Laurain, 54 of Rochester Hills/Romeo, died Thursday, April 5, 2018. She was born July 7, 1963 in Southgate, Michigan.  Diane is the daughter of Virgil and Mary Ann (Boland) Laurain. Diane graduated from Romeo High school in 1981.  She went on to the University of Michigan graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science/Mechanical Engineering Degree.  Diane worked at Faurecia as Mechanical/Patent Engineer in Auburn Hills for many years.  She was a lifelong member of St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo.  Diane enjoyed traveling, baking and photography in her spare time.  Diane is survived by her parents Virgil and Mary Ann (Boland) Laurain; brothers William (Nancy) Laurain of Hamburg Township, Daniel (Peggy) Laurain of Romeo, Dr. John Laurain of Mason, Patrick (Denise) Laurain of Romeo and Marty (Colleen) Laurain of Shelby; 3 nieces and 10 nephews.  Diane was preceded in death by her brother Mark Laurain. Funeral services for Diane will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Clement Church in Romeo, Michigan.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home 11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, Michigan. A rosary will be held on Tuesday night at 7:30 PM by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018. Burial will take place at Guardian Angels Cemetery in Oakland Township. Donations to the Wilson Disease Foundation in Diane’s memory would be appreciated.
