Diane V. Reschke

Diane V. Reschke, age 72, a 1 year resident of Rochester Hills, and formerly from Sterling Heights/Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Waltonwood Assisted Living in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Diane was born July 5, 1938 in Stratford, Ontario, the daughter of Franklin and Verna (Wreford) Upton. Diane worked in secretarial work for many years, retiring in 1989 with “Kelly Services” at the General Motor Tech Center in Warren, MI. Diane had also worked as a medical transcriptionist, at a lawyer’s office & with Schneider Trucking as a secretary, and with the E.D.S. Company. Her hobbies include knitting, crocheting, sewing, and being with her dog Holly. Diane is survived by her son Eric (Jennifer) Reschke along with her granddaughters Alexandra & Anna. Diane’s mother Verna Upton of Rochester Hills survives along with her sister-in-law Joanne Upton of Parry Sound, Ontario. Diane was preceded in death by her brother Donald Upton. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 14 from 4-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the Humane Society or to the Odyssey Hospice would be appreciated.
