Dolores C. Herron

Dolores C. Herron, age 79, a 55 year resident of Ray Twp., passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her home. Delores was born August 19, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Knust) Schultz. She married Buford Herron on August 28, 1954 at St John Lutheran Church in Romeo and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2014. . Dolores retired from the First of America Bank in downtown Romeo as an Assistant Manager in 1987 after many years of employment. Upon retiring, she enjoyed camping, gardening, and reading. Along with her family, they were long time members of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo. Dolores is survived by her children: Randy (Luisa) Herron and Darcel Bennett both of Washington, Michigan and Deanna (Jeff) Shultis of Sterling Heights, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Eric, Melissa, Tiffany, Christopher, Amanda, and Adam. Great grandchildren include Dimitri, Madison, and Riley. Dolores has one brother David Schultz surviving and was preceded in death by her brother Ernie Schultz. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church of Romeo with Rev. Martin Gehring officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to St John Lutheran Church of Romeo would be appreciated.
