Donald R. Deaton

Donald R. Deaton, age 82, a resident of Dryden, Michigan, since 1997, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 in Chesterfield. Donald was born August 12, 1942 in Brandon Township, Michigan, the son of Ray and Genevia (Taulbe) Deaton. After graduating from Rochester High School, Donald was a Carpenter by trade, commercial and residential. Donald was an avid hunter; he also enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and had a love of dogs, especially Boxers.

Donald is survived by his wife, Hellene Lewis, of Dryden, daughters, Linda (Chase) Morley of Chesterfield, Michigan, and Michelle Schurman of Clarkston, Michigan, siblings, Norma Deaton of Shelby Township, Kenny (Janice) Deaton of Port Hope, Crystal Deaton of Shelby Township, and Kathy Deaton of Harbor Beach, as well as grandchildren, Mitchell Morley, Brooklyn Morley, Hunter Schurman, and Brandon Schurman.
