Donna Dove

Donna Dove, age 81, since 1978 a resident of Lewiston, MI., and formerly Linden, MI. passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Romeo Nursing Center. Donna was born October 1, 1931 in Flint, the daughter of Raymond and Leona (Titsworth) Christler. She married Milton Dove on December 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1991. Mom enjoyed reading, growing flowers and vegetables, bird watching, and being out doors taking walks. Donna also liked to visit light houses, water falls and enjoyed watching educational programs on TV such as National Geographic’s Discovery, news and the travel stations. Donna also enjoyed listening to music and her favorite musicians include the Four Freshman, Johnny Mathis and many other groups and individuals. Donna is survived by her children: Marcia Dove of Rochester, MI., Jeff (Michael) Dove of Lewiston, Karrie (Michael) Drendall of Romeo, Susan (Jimmy) Trent of Flint, and Jack Dove of Durand, MI. Grandchildren include Tracie Richardson, and Heather & Grant Skinner. Also survived by great grandchildren Matthew & Christopher along with son in law Larry Gibson of Durand, MI and her sister Eileen Calvert of TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton, parents, and daughter Linda Gibson. Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
