Donna E. Smith

Donna E. Smith, age 83, a resident of Sterling Heights since 1959 and previously from Madison Heights, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home. Donna was born December 5, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of Frederick and Martha (Henry) Lepire. She married Donald H. Smith on March 15, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1980. Donna worked as a secretary for many years at Saturn Industries in Warren before retiring in 1995. Upon retirement, she enjoyed doing yard work/gardening, her dogs, and especially being with her family. Donna is survived by her daughter Lori (Dave) Hudson of Washington Township, grandchildren: Brion (Lisa) Smith of Sterling Heights, Jennifer Hudson & Scott Hudson both of Washington Township and her great grandson Dustyn Hudson. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of the St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.
