Dorothy E. Mollon

Dorothy E. Mollon, age 93, a 20 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Royal Oak, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Dorothy was born January 3, 1920 in Wayne County, Michigan, the daughter of Claude and Blanche Spencer. Dorothy worked for many years in housekeeping at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital before retiring in 1981. Upon retirement, Dorothy enjoyed being with her family and many friends. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Jo-Ellen (Jim) Schoenherr of Washington Township, sons: James (Judy) Mollon of Roscommon, MI., and Richard Mollon of Romeo. Also survived by grandchildren: Darren (Linda) Mollon, Dorrien (Jeff) Hendrickson, Greg (Julie) Schoenherr and Laura (Don) Kern. 12 great grandchildren survive along with her sister Lois Olsen of Royal Oak. She was preceded in death by her sister Vera. Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 24 at 7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Majeski of Grace Lutheran Fellowship officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 3-7 PM. Burial will take place on Saturday at 11 AM at Davis Cemetery in Ray Township.
