Dorothy Hannah, age 84, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Dorothy was born May 30, 1929 in Romeo, the daughter of Charley and Sarah Ann (Davis) Steward. Dorothy married Clarence (Hank) Hannah on April 28, 1949 in Mt Clemens, MI., and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2003. She worked for automotive factories in the Romeo area for many years doing assembly work. She belonged to the First Church of God in Romeo her whole life. Her hobbies include traveling, an avid reader, well known for her interior design expertise, gardening, and was well know for her stylish way she always looked. Dorothy is survived by her siblings: Charles (Jacqueline) Stewart of Romeo, Daniel Stewart of Wisconsin, and Johniebelle Robinson of Ypsilanti. She was preceded in death by siblings: James, Lee, Roscoe, Raymond, Richard, Francis, & Brenda. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 11 AM at the First Church of God in Romeo with Rev. James Rogan and Rev. Wendall Thompson co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Family hour will take place one hour before the service starts at the Church. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
